Q. How do we work?

A. Once you contact us with a short description of your project, a sales manager will contact you asking for more details about the project and for samples of similar project if you have any. Once we receive the information, our technical staff will go through the details & samples and give you a price quote for the project within 24 hours. At this time we will give you a detail list of deliverables and a delivery date for the project. Once these are finalized we will send you a work order for you to sign and we immediately begin the execution of project.

 

Q. What would be the turnaround time?

A. The turnaround time depends on the project. Based on the project details and requirements we calculate the timeline for project completion. We can also work on short deadlines if required. We will send you the estimated timeline over an e-mail before the project kick starts.

 

Q. Do you provide a proof-of-concept?

A. Yes, we build a proof-of-concept but it is limited to 8 man hours of work.

 

Q. Do you follow your own CAD standards or those prescribed by us?

A. We are well versed with AIA and RIBA standards. If you have a set of standards to be followed we quickly align our deliverables to it. However, in case there are no set standards given by you, we use our own experience and expertise to ensure the deliverables are compatible to your local municipal rules and regulations.

 

Q. How do we communicate on an everyday basis?

A. Our robust yet scalable telecom infrastructure will ensure that we always update you on project’s progress. The project manager is available on e-mail, chat, mobile phone, and on the office direct inline number. Each week we will have a project review and update meeting with you. And end of each day the project manager will update you with the project status over an e-mail. We are serious about our processes, as they ensure we deliver on the agreed turn-around time for each milestone and overall project.

 

Q. How do you ensure information security?

A. At Outsourcing CADworks we are very serious about information security. We maintain a strict confidentiality agreement with our employees. All project related information is only shared with the team which is going to work on that specific project. Our office is well equipped with theft control and access control mechanisms. The FTP site is a Verisign secure site. Each customer is provided with a username and password which ensures no unauthorized person gains access to your data. We also ensure that at no time files belonging to the client are taken out of the office premises.

 

Q. How do you guarantee high quality drawings?

A. Our quality checking is a two step process:

  • Our quality process and the execution of the project go hand in hand. At the beginning of the project, we create a check list with the list of information given/needed for the project and share it with the client so that the team can understand what to deliver and the client can expect what to receive.
  • Once the project is been executed a quality checker will go through the requirement sheet and the finished project to make sure the requirements are met and all the standards are kept.

 

Q. What are the different engagement/pricing models?

A. We have flexible engagement models to ensure higher ROI on each dollar spent. But, the two popular engagement models with our existing clients are:

  • Fixed Price (on project) model: Based on your supplied drawings and other requirements, we will provide a written quote over an e-mail.
  • Retain a Team model: This is intended in case you have constant flow of work throughout the year. You can have a team of engineers and architects dedicated to your project only. We will manage the team and ensure the delivery in time with quality.

 

Q. What will be the mode of delivery?

A. It depends which mode is easy to access by the client. It could range from FTP, e-mail, to compact disks shipped through snail mail.

 

Q. What modes of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Bank Wires, Paypal, Checks & Western Union Money Transfer & Credit Card Payment. Payments can be made in US Dollars.

 

Q. Do you provide any credit period?

A. Yes, we extend a 15 day credit period from the time of dispatch of invoice. All the invoices will be sent through email.
